overall, a great watch. the weight might need a little getting used to, but once that happens you can’t be without it. i [over]paid $2400 at a local retailer about 6 months ago (10/07) but very happy nonetheless. easy to read, automatic winding lasts for about a day and a half (on the shelf).

Great watch. But no one is doing you a favor in selling new one for more than $2,100 (not including tax). Fine retailers sell the watch for $2,500 and on nearly all occassions can provide 15 percent off. If it is priced more than $2,100 retailer’s price is not aggressive enough, particulalry on the internet. c-mon.
