At the time of this review, I’ve only had for a week. I was able to get this AR when it was 62% off retail. This is a fabulous price for this TAG. I love this watch and the unique electro-mechanical movement. The orange second hand and sub-dial tips against the blue face is striking and a perfect match - an absolute must see in person. The solid look and feel of this watch make it look and feel bomb proof. This is my first venture into the premium watch market, and I am very pleased with this purchase, especially at the price paid.

Date indicated by subdials. Unique feature, especially considering it is perpetual until 2099!

Accurate 1/100th Chronograph! Not that you’ll need this accuracy considering we humans can’t react that fast.
Heavy-duty watch band and button clasp. Solid look and feel, no broken finger nails when opening clasp.
300M submersible. It’ll go deaper than you ever will! (Except for the 1/10000000 persons that are trained for deep dive#.
It’s a TAG Heuer Aquaracer for less than $1100 #at time of purchase#.
Not so Cool:
At 45mm diameter it is big, if you have small wrists this may be a problem, no problem if you don’t.
I’ve done a significant amount of research on various watches in this and higher leagues. Many ‘enthusiasts’ will judge this as Quartz movement and thus not worthy to be considered. However, what I like about this Calibre S movement is it’s unique hybrid movement #and appearance# is designed by in house by TH and used only by TH. Many of the other TH automatic’s and most other Swiss watch makers share the same ETA made movements #not necessarily a bad thing# that may be slightly modified for the specific watch model.
For those considering, this Calibre S AR is now discontinued from TH, so many AD’s no longer have this one in stock, and those that do are probably offering 30% savings for in stock inventory. However, even with the 30% off from a local dealer, it would have cost me $1500 more to buy local.
You won’t be dissapointed. I certainly am not!

I got it for my husband as his birthday present. Fortunately he likes it, as we stay outside USA, it is difficult for us to return the watch if he doesn’t like it. Prior to the purchase, I’ve done research online and at the boutiques. I love the blue dial, which is much brighter than the picture on Amazon. The logo is rather dull though, it’s not obvious that it’s a TH logo, but he does not seem to mind it. The size is just right for my husband’s wrist, I feel it fits better than the 41mm TH that he has, but may look too big on a thin wrist. I was happy with the packaging and the speed of delivery, it took merely 4 days for it to be sent to Singapore. While I paid a premium on delivery, it is still much economical to get it from Amazon, though our local retailers usually gives a good 20-25% discount off the retail price. I’m just crossing my fingers that it’ll continue to work well, if I have to send it back to Amazon for repair, it’ll be too costly. So far, I’m happy with my purchase.
