I have been a Tag Heuer fan/owner for many years and I was happy to finally get an automatic Carrera model. IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND:
- This watch does not keep very good time; I am gaining about 7-9 seconds a day, when I called into Tag Heuer, they said that ALL Carrera models are acurate + or - 2 MINUTES A WEEK !!!!!!! Basically automatic watches are way less acurate than quartz watches, and even COSC CERTIFIED automatic movement watches have a margin of error + or - 4-6 seconds a day!!!!
- This watch IN NOT Tag Heuer CERTIFIED!!!!!!! When I called into Tag Heuer after purchasing this watch, they told me that because Amazion.com IS NOT an authorized Tag Heuer dealer, they (Tag Heuer) CAN’T guarantee that the watch is not fake, defective, broken or using fake parts/movement. To buy this watch from a certified dealer it costs at least $3,400, or about $1,300 more than Amazon.com THERE IS A REASON for this!!!!
It’s a beautiful watch and I don’t think its fake or broken, its just that when you’re spending this much money on something it had better be perfect!!!!!!!
